If so, ask your high school counselor about the Early Admissions Program (EAP) at Southwestern College. EAP offers early assessment, orientation and registration to students long before the fall semester begins, and before continuing Southwestern College students register for their classes. Speak to your high school counselor for exact dates and times or contact the Southwestern College Outreach Office.
Important Tips for High School Seniors
Take the College Placement Assessments seriously! Placement tests place you in the right level of Math, English and Reading classes.
- Pay attention during Orientation & Registration, and ask questions! you won't see a counselor until the semester begins so understand the steps to matriculation, what the placement results mean, and how to register for classes.
- Register for classes on your registration appointment date. EAP students get first pick before continuing students. Classes fill up quickly so register early!
- Apply for Financial Aid early EAP offers financial aid nights with financial aid specialists to help you and your parents sort through the information. Don't wait until the last minute to apply for help!
