- When is the Commencement Ceremony 2025?
Friday, May 30, 2025. There are two ceremony times (10am and 4pm) and student’s attendance is dependent on their major/degree/program. Please wait for an email invite to register. - Who is eligible to participate in the ceremony?
If you think you are ready to graduate, or have 45 or more units, you are strongly encouraged to see a counselor for a graduation review. This will help determine how close you are to completing your course of study and if you are ready to submit your petition. Certificates of Proficiency (17 or less units) will not be listed on the transcript and are not recognized at the Commencement Ceremony. - What are the steps to participate in the ceremony? The invite to participate in the May 30, 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be sent via email, before March 15. Registration is from March 15-April 15. - Monday Q&A (Question & Answer) Series via Zoom
If you have Commencement related questions, attend one of the Monday Q&A Series happening every Monday (except on holidays) from 12pm-1pm and get some answers and/or information regarding the ceremony. Binational/Fronterizo Commencement Ceremony

The 2nd Binational Fronterizo Commencement Ceremony was held last June 17, 2024 at the Preparatoria Federal Lazaro Cardenas, in Tijuana, Mexico and was attended by our SWC student graduates in the presence of their family and friends.
