Southwestern College will be accepting applications for the August 2016 Paramedic training program starting on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
Emergency Medical Technicians with a year of full-time work experience are encouraged to apply.
Interested EMT's may obtain an application packet from the SWC Higher Education Center at Otay Mesa until the middle of May or via email from Karen Cook at email@example.com.
Classes start in mid-August. Selection into the paramedic training program will be determined based on an assessment of your cognitive, psychomotor and affective abilities.(See application for more information. Please note some of the requirements have changed, effective this year.)

The goal of the Southwestern College Paramedic Program is to prepare competent entry-level Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.
** EMTP 115 Paramedic Preparation class will be added to the January 2016 "Intersession" schedule, meeting Monday-Friday for 2 weeks starting Jan. 11. Enroll via Web Advisor. **
