Southwestern College (SWC) continually participates in the assessment and renewal of an institutional strategic plan that directly supports the College's mission, vision, and values. The purpose of the strategic plan is to define, organize, and guide the College's priorities and goals, and to establish specific, measurable objectives and action steps that efficiently focus the College's energy and resources around institutional effectiveness and student success. The planning process follows the PIE process of "Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation," and is further optimized through collective participation of the entire campus community. Shared planning and decision-making is critical to SWC's integrated institutional planning process.
