This degree is designed to provide students with the skills and technical knowledge requested by employers using Computer Assisted Design and Drafting (CADD) software. The program focuses on the development of fundamental drafting and CAD skills and problem solving strategies in the development of two and three dimensional models using a variety of CAD software. Design Technology
Career/Technical (Major Code A2572)

This degree is for students planning to transfer to a four year institution. Focus of the program is to provide the student with a sound background in CADD and design elements as they relate to the field of mechanical engineering. Certificates are designed to provide the student with a sound background in CADD and elements of mechanical design. The program provides the students an opportunity to learn and use a variety of CADD software and stresses the fundamentals of design and related topics. Design and presentation software are available to enrolled students. Additional engineering software allow student to acquire, develop and enhance skills in areas of interest.
