- GROUP 1 - Registration beginsfor EOPS, Disability Support Services(DSS), Veterans, Armed Forces, CalWORKs, Foster Youth, Former Foster Youth, Homeless Youth, Former Homeless Youth, Tribal TANF recipients, Students with dependent children (under 18 years of age), students who HAVE MET the Student Success mandates (orientation + assessment-placement + student education plan)
NOVEMBER 9
- GROUP 2 - Registration begins for Associated Student Organization Executive Board (ASO), Senate Members, Student Trustee, District Identified Learning Communities, FYE-SYE, MESA Program, University Links, Vocational Rehabilitation, Honors Program, Eligible Student Athletes, AB540, Restorative Justice, International Students (F1), SWC student workers who HAVE MET the Student Success mandates(orientation + assessment-placement + student education plan), Dual Admissions Program UC/CSU
NOVEMBER 13
- GROUP 4 - Registration beginsfor continuing students who have not lost registration priority. Registration begins for concurrently enrolled special admit high school and adult school students.
NOVEMBER 17
- GROUP 5 - Registration beginsfor New and returning (former)students on a first come, firstserved basis.
NOVEMBER 27 - DECEMBER 1
- GROUP 6 - Open Registration – Given the scheduling limitations of our Student Information System (SIS), students in this priority group will occur over a one-week period. The average cohortsize for this priority group is 18,000+ students.
JANUARY 2
- WINTER INTERSESSION BEGINS - Students enrolled in wintershortterm classes(less than 4 weeks)should drop by the first scheduled class meeting to avoid receiving a “W” and being charged registration fees.
JANUARY 15
- HOLIDAY - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
JANUARY 24
- WINTER INTERSESSION ENDS
JANUARY 28
- Residency determination date
JANUARY 29
- Spring 2024 Semester Begins
- Textbooks and required class materials must be returned by the first week of Spring (see bookstore website)
JANUARY 31
- Winter Intersession 2023 grades due from faculty by 5:00 PM
FEBRUARY 1
- Winter Intersession grades available online at Self Service at MySWC
- Deadline to petition for spring 2024 Graduation - Student on CSU E-Verification List
FEBRUARY 9
Deadline to complete items below through MySWC (online only)
- LAST DAY TODROP Spring REGULAR classes without receiving a “W” on record or being charged fees.
- LAST DAY TO DROP Spring REGULAR classes with eligibility for a refund of registration fees.
- LAST DAY TO ADD using add authorization code from instructor for Spring REGULAR classes.
FEBRUARY 12
- Census Date - Census Rosters due from Faculty by 5 P.M.
FEBRUARY 13
- FIRST DAY of Withdrawal with “W” for a Spring regular (full 16 week) semester class

- Last day to file a petition for Independent Study
- Financial Aid Freeze Date

- Second 8 week session begins

- Last day to withdraw from full-semester classes and receive a “W” grade

- Final grades are due for all classes

Grade rosters must be submitted on on MySWC and are due by: at 5:00 PM ON MONDAY JUNE 3, 2024.
Check WebAdvisor to view the following deadline dates by clicking on the class title of a specific class section. Deadlines for short-session classes are determined as indicated below.
- Deadline to add classes: Day prior to Census
- Deadline for refund: 10% of actual meeting days (Note: in some cases this may be the first day of class).
- Deadline to apply for pass/no pass option is the first week for short term classes
- Deadline to withdraw from class without receiving a “W”:
20% of actual class meeting days - Deadline to withdraw from class and receive a“W”:
75% of actual meeting day
