Traffic in the area of Gotham and Otay Lakes Road should be back to normal.

Information – Chula Vista Police Department SWAT team was serving a search warrant on a house that they believed had the rifle, ammunition, and radio stolen from a police vehicle of a county law enforcement officer. No information if this search was successful. No one was hurt or injured and the situation is back to normal.

The Chula Vista Police Department has the emergency situation under control. There is no further threat to the campus.

They are currently conducting an investigation into the incident and traffic will be severely impacted during this time. We suggest you use a different route to enter and exit the campus. We do not know how long this situation will continue. We will advise as soon as we are made aware of their completion of operations.
