ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Once the ADN Program pre-requisites are completed, you may submit your application with the required documentation to the Southwestern College Nursing Program. Official transcripts must be mailed directly to the Southwestern College (Admissions Department), 900 Otay Lakes Rd  Chula Vista, CA 91910

Applications are due to the Nursing Department by the last business day in January of every year. The Nursing program begins in August annually.  Please call to cancel your application, if you are accepted elsewhere or choose not to attend the program. Letters of acceptance are sent the March prior to the Fall semester start date.  Applicants who are accepted into the program may NOT defer acceptance but must reapply to the program.

As of Fall 2014 there have been changes to the point system that the Nursing Department uses to admit students. To learn more about the new changes we recommend you attend an information session.
