San Diego County Phlebotomy Programs

Possession of a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) I or II license is required as a prerequisite for the MLT program at Southwestern College. In order to be eligible for a license a student must complete an approved phlebotomy program accredited by the California Department of Public Health, as well as meet other requirements. Laboratory Field Services (LFS), of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), issues phlebotomy licenses.

Southwestern College does not offer a phlebotomy training program at this time.
