I am teaching Bio261 Human Physiology, Bio207 Introduction to Bioinformatics, Bio211 Cell and Molecular Biology, the general biology Bio100/101 Principle of Biology.
I have a M.S. in biophysics and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Basel, Switzerland. My main research interest is in biological membranes and how membrane transport proteins function. I came to San Diego to do research at UCSD, The Scripps Research Institute and Johnson&Johnson's Pharmaceutical Research and Development Institute. Before working at SWC, I was teaching biochemistry at UCSD.
